Ventura High School Theater
2 Catalina Street, Ventura, CA

Tito Puente Jr. and his band preserve the legacy of his father, who popularized Afro Cuban and Caribbean rhythms (mambo, cha-cha) in the 1950s. Though the son includes his own compositions, he covers many of his fatherís hits as well.

Puenteís music makes you want to dance!

After 5 years, 2 albums and more than 300 live appearances, Tito Puente, Jr. continues on his journey to keep the legacy of his late father alive, and expose this unique musical style to a new generation of fans. Revel in the sounds from the son of the Mambo King as he brings audiences to their feet, literally dancing in their seats!

Giving back to yet another generation of musicians!

Tito Puente Jr. will bring the winner of Ventura Music Festivalís 7th Annual Student Jazz Competition onstage to perform alongside him in addition to providing a master class for the top student musician!
